Cowboy Quiche

A deep dish delight packed with caramelized onions, bacon, and sharp cheddar cheese.

This right here is another favorite. It does take a minute to make and the recipe is very particular-- you don't wanna end up with a flat quiche. But once it's done, oh my goodness, chef's kiss. It's very filling, and is perfect for those trying to increase their calorie and protein intake as well as calcium!

    whole unbaked pie crust (enough for a deep dish pan)

    whole yellow onions, sliced

  • 2 tbsp.

    butter

  • 8

    slices bacon

  • 8

    whole large eggs

  • 1 1/2 c.

    heavy cream or half-and-half

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 c.

    grated sharp cheddar cheese
